RFID/NFC blocking card

The RFId blocking card protects proximity cards against unauthorized data reading. The built-in special RFID module disrupts the waves emitted by the reader, making it impossible to read data from a card located nearby.

The convenience that RFID and NFC cards offer may also be their weakness. Communication with readers via radio waves means that criminals may attempt unauthorized scanning of RFID cards, e.g. using specialized portable devices.

In this way, they can read confidential data written on the cards, which allows criminals to, for example, ‘clone’ the read data onto their cards to gain access to protected areas. Or, having a special portable payment terminal, they can make an unauthorized transaction without the knowledge of the card owner.

The offered “anti-theft” card effectively protects payment cards and access cards against such unauthorized reading. A special radio module built into such a card disrupts radio waves at the frequency on which RFID cards operate, effectively blocking attempts to scan or read data from the card next to it.

Thanks to the use of a special module that disrupts the frequency on which RFID and NFC cards operate, the criminal will not be able to read data from a bank or access card located nearby. It should be emphasized that this card protects cards with an RFID module operating at frequency 13.56 MHz (MIFARE / NFC). Therefore, this card will not be suitable for protecting Unique EM 4100 cards that operate at 125 kHz. And also – RFID card protection works up to distance of max. 5 cm.

Print options
In the basic version, these cards are standard cards with a format of 86×56 mm, made of white PVC. However, we can also produce them like all other cards – cover them with a CMYK print in accordance with sent project, add exclusive prints made e.g. with selective varnish, cover them with a glossy or matte laminate, etc.
